Today my focus was on making cookies for the church Cookie Walk on Saturday.
First up – Peanut Butter Blossom cookies -
Then Old-Fashioned Sugar Cookies -
Followed by Peanut Marshmallow Clusters (no bake) -
And finally Cheesecake Cookies -
The dough for another batch is in the refrigerator. It requires rolling out, cutting shapes, and decorating. I’ll do those tomorrow.
My cookie making this year went so much better than in previous years. Why? Three things seemed to help immensely – 1. A plan. 2. A stand mixer. 3. Using parchment paper.
After working all day in the kitchen, I think I will spend the evening hours either watching a movie or reading a book – with my feet up!
