On my design wall is a simple nine-patch with sashing and cornerstones - and I added two applique blocks to give more visual interest.
I still have more sashing to cut - and of course the whole thing needs to be sewn together and have some colorful borders added. It is definitely a work in progress. The picture is not good, so in case you cannot tell, the blocks are dark blues and creamy white.

Great way to make the eye move around the quilt more! It does look black but I like the idea of the cream and dark blue. Hope you get lots of sewing done so you can share progress again!
